PONTAL: Methodologies for 3D printing and robotics

PONTAL project partners have completed methodologies for conducting workshops in the areas of 3D modelling & printing and robotics.

The methodology for 3D modelling & printing is directed by experts from Lithuania who will test the methodology at the workshops starting on 23 February.

The methodology for robotics technology has been developed by Italian colleagues who plan to start a series of workshops from 1 March.

Students are expected to complete a series of workshops in VR/AR, 3D printing and robotics by the end of the school year. At the end of the courses we will ask pupils for their feedback using satisfaction questionnaires. Our goal is that at least 70% of all pupils completing the pilot workshops will be satisfied with the way of conducting, content and benefits of the workshops.

We believe that these courses will enrich the standard curriculum in European primary schools and support the prevention of NEETs among the most vulnerable pupils as part of our initiative.

Pupils will also gain new skills and knowledge in subjects where they would not have access in primary school education.
