On October 4th, 2024, the Kick-Off Meeting of the GreenScape project was held in Prague, Czech Republic, marking the formal beginning of this Erasmus+ initiative. Hosted by IRR, the meeting brought together partner organisations from six European countries for the first time: Easypyme.tech (Spain), Pylon One (Greece), ProxyLab (Finland), Fifty-Fifty (Greece), and AIM (Bulgaria).
The meeting served as a key moment to align the consortium on shared objectives, governance structures, and the roadmap ahead. Partners outlined the core Work Packages of the project, focusing on the development of a unique Virtual Escape Room framework aimed at promoting sustainability and civic engagement among young people. Discussions also covered content creation and outreach strategies to ensure the effectiveness and reach of the project’s educational goals.
GreenScape aims to redefine how sustainability education is delivered by introducing an immersive Virtual Escape Room experience that engages youth through interactive learning. This innovative concept is designed as a platform for exploring key societal themes in a hands-on manner, encouraging critical thinking, collaboration, and active citizenship. With enthusiasm high among all partners, the project marks an exciting step forward in combining game-based learning with social and environmental consciousness.
