Second meeting

On April 1, 2021, the second meeting of the PONTAL project will take place under the leadership of IRR, which will bring together representatives of all 6 participating partners (from the Czech Republic, Lithuania, Estonia, Turkey, Hungary and Italy).

The meeting was affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, thus took place online. During the meeting, the partners focused mainly on finalizing the first intellectual output, which consists in the methodology of mapping the profile of potential “NEETs” among students. During the current weeks, a questionnaire survey will be conducted in primary schools in the partner countries, which will map the situation of pupils and identify those who could fall into the NEET groups in the future.

The main goals of the project are:

Prevention of the phenomenon of NEETs and increase of interest in technical, scientific and mathematical disciplines with a high degree of innovation among students of the last year of primary schools.

Creating a methodology for identifying pupils at risk of early school leaving.

Creation of six sets of course syllabi with an innovative method of action learning in cooperation with foreign experts.

Raising awareness of the NEET phenomenon at European level.

Within the PONTAL project, 2 intellectual outputs will be created:
