Europe Direct Information Centre Bruntál organized last year a series of lectures for students and secondary school students in the district Bruntál about their rights as citizens of the European Union.

Lectures about the rights of EU citizens attended a total of 116 male and female students from the Secondary Teacher Training College and Secondary Medical School in Krnov Vocational schools in Bruntal and School of transport and tourism in Krnov.

The content of the lectures was an introduction to the topic of the European Union, with an emphasis on the rights of EU citizens – traveling, studying, working and volunteering in the EU.

The lecturers were leading Europe Direct Information Centre Bruntál, leading Eurocentrum Ostrava and EURES Adviser Ostrava.

Students gained a lot of valuable information, including accompanying publications on European issues and the rights of EU citizens.
