The Ga.M.E.S.Net project implemented by the Society of European Martial Arts. It is one of four projects in the area of traditional sports supported by the European Commission in 2013.

Project activities:

  • creation of national information points, which are designed to promote the project, medieval sports and games and other European traditions;
  • organising a competition for teams of four young people designed for secondary schools and for students;
  • festival of medieval sports (the GAMES Days), which will take place in the summer of 2015 in the Italian town of Narni.

The project involves a total of 13 partners from 7 European countries who at the beginning of June 2014 gathered at the inaugural meeting in Perugia, Italy.
